Pinoy Pride 46: ALA Boxing Stars To Take Center Stage In Ormoc City



ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports + Action, in cooperation with Island Premium Paints and the Ormoc City Government, presented the Pinoy Pride 46 event to the press on Friday, July 19, in Peach Tree Lodge.

Prince Albert Pagara of Maasin City, Southern Leyte, would fight against Ratchanon ”Lucky Tor Buamas” Sawangsoda of Thailand. Joe ”Santino” Santisima of Aroroy, Masbate, on the other hand, would face Alvius Maufani of Indonesia on August 17, 2019, in the Ormoc City Superdome.

Aside from Pagara and Santisima, Melvin ”El Gringo” Jerusalem of Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon would also try his luck in the Pinoy Pride 46 event. Details about Jerusalem’s opponent have not been made public as of yet.

ALA Promotions Manager Edito Villamor, however, revealed that Jerusalem would fight another Pinoy boxer for the Pinoy Pride 46 event. Also present during the press conference were coach Edmund Villamor, Island Premium Paints Sales Officer Jundy Fuentes, Island Premium Paints Business Development Officer Lovella Solayao, ALA Promotions General Manager Jeana Alvarez, and Liga ng mga Barangay President Esteban Laurente, who represented the local government on behalf of Mayor Richard Gomez.

Tickets will be available for purchase in Ormoc City Superdome Ticket Booth and in the City Tourism Office at the second level of Ormoc City Hall. Prices are 50 pesos for the General Admission, 100 and 300 pesos for the yellow seats, 500 pesos for the green seats, and 1,000 pesos for the VIP seats.

The upcoming Pinoy Pride 46 event will be made possible with the support of the Island Premium Paints, Peach Tree Lodge, Hotel Don Felipe, Alejandro’s Catering, Robinsons Place Ormoc, SM Center Ormoc, and the local government unit of Ormoc City.
